Color uplifts my art like love uplifts a person. Color is my driving force.
I let it flow out naturally as I let myself be led spontaneously thru
whatever subject matter I am working on. I usually have an idea or dream
that starts me out and I just jump in and let go! I seldom use a sketch, but
when I do, it NEVER dictates my moves. I most often paint to music. What I
hear translates to colors and moods. My most successful work appears when,
"I do not think". The real "life" in my work appears within minutes and
final completion is usually finished within an hour or two, (except
commissions which are another type of working process). Often, when people
look at my work I hear them say,
"IT MAKES ME HAPPY!" and I say, "GOAL ACCOMPLISHED!"
